The latest Volunteering England update has higlighted that the Department of Health is reviewing all funding and investment to third sector orgaisations inside is a link to the consulation documents.
The Department of Health is reviewing all funding and investment to third sector organisations. This includes Section 64 General Scheme of Grants, Section 64 Specific Grants Schemes, Opportunities for Volunteering Grants and other funding through contracts direct from the Department.
The consultation document sets out strategic proposals for a framework to bring greater coherence and strategic relevance to the funding and investment. Respondents can also attend one of the consultation workshops being held across the country.
Third sector organisations and other interested stakeholders are invited to respond to the consultation before 20 March 2008.
